About Our Practice

Dr. L.G. Puckett IV, D.D.S.

Dr. L.G. Puckett D.D.S is an experienced, caring dentist who is dedicated to providing the best dental care possible. He graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry and has continued his passion for learning while building his practice. Dr. L.G. and his wife Airica, a Registered Dental Hygienist and member of the Tennessee State Board of Dentistry, live in Livingston, Tennessee. They have three children Greene (10), Aubrianna Berkley (6), and John Crewe (1). They are members of the West End Church of Christ, where Dr. L.G. serves as a Deacon and Airica teaches the young ladie’s Bible class. Dr. L.G.’s extensive experience in the dental profession allows him to completely transform patients’ smiles, even in the most complex cases. When he’s not caring for patients he loves to travel and spend time as a family. At any given time, you may find him front row at a Need to Breathe concert.

Dr. Thao Phan Nguyen, D.D.S.

Thao was born in Vietnam and moved to the US in 2005. She attended Livingston Academy, Tennessee Tech University, and UTHSC College of Dentistry.

She and her husband recently moved back to Cookeville in July 2024 and bought a home onthe same street as her sister Thu (owns Luxury Nails in Cookeville) and her brother Nam (owns Nails by Ben in Livingston). They recently welcomed their first child.

Thao enjoys traveling, reading, fishing, hanging out with her nephews and trying new
restaurants with her husband Tru! “What inspired me into dentistry was seeing the minimal dental care resources and education in my hometown community in Vietnam. Many of my family members were missing teeth and were having chronic teeth pain. I pursued dentistry in hopes of spreading more awareness and education about the benefits of oral health within the community. I truly enjoy coming to work
everyday and Dr. LG and his staff have welcomed me with open arms! The patients have been incredibly sweet and I look forward to working with everyone for many years to come!”

There are times when the dictionary nor the thesaurus have the appropriate words for that which our loving God has provided us. This post is being placed late, on a Saturday evening. We have just left Dr. L.G. Pucekett’s office. My husband had a crown that unexpectedly dislodged and needed immediate attention. Dr. Puckett without hesitation, again, late on a Saturday evening, took time away from his evening and from his family to help our family. This type of dedication and this type of soul is not easily found in this world that seems to value more and more, only that which matters to the self. Our loving God has graced Dr. Puckett with not only the skills to help those in need, but a soul that freely and without hesitation, serves. Thank you and God bless you and your family.
