Dr. L.G. Puckett, D.D.S. finds his passion in transforming smiles and changing lives. A graduate with honors from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry, Dr. L.G. has continued pursuing advanced education and innovation to ensure his patients receive the very best modern dental care available.
Known for his calm, caring approach and attention to detail, Dr. L.G. specializes in creating confident, healthy smiles, even in the most complex cases. His experience and precision allow him to completely transform smiles while making patients feel comfortable every step of the way.
At home in Livingston, TN, he and his wife Airica, a Registered Dental Hygienist and member of the Tennessee State Board of Dentistry, are raising their three children, Greene, Aubrianna Berkley, and John Crewe. They are active members of West End Church of Christ, where Dr. L.G. serves as a Deacon and Airica teaches Bible class.
When he’s not perfecting smiles, you’ll find him traveling with his family, getting in time at the shooting range, or front row at a Needtobreathe concert.

Thao’s journey into dentistry is rooted in heart, purpose, and community. Born in Vietnam, she moved to the U.S. in 2005 and went on to attend Livingston Academy, Tennessee Tech University, and later earned her dental education at the UTHSC College of Dentistry.
In July 2024, Thao and her husband Tru returned to Cookeville, settling into a home on the same street as her sister Thu (owner of Luxury Nails in Cookeville) and her brother Nam (owner of Nails by Ben in Livingston). They also recently celebrated an exciting new chapter — welcoming their first child.
Outside the office, Thao loves traveling, reading, fishing, spending time with her nephews, and trying new restaurants with her husband.
Her passion for dentistry began early. “Growing up in Vietnam, I saw firsthand how limited access to dental care and education affected my community. Many of my family members suffered from chronic dental pain or missing teeth. That experience inspired me to pursue dentistry so I could help spread awareness and education about the importance of oral health.” Thao adds, “I truly enjoy coming to work every day. Dr. LG and the entire team welcomed me with open arms, and the patients have been incredibly kind. I’m so excited to grow here and serve this community for many years to come.”
